In 1608, the Bishop of Antwerp gave the abbey a statue of Our Lady of Scherpenheuvel (Montaigu), which Abbot Henrion initially placed in the church. Only afterwards did he decide to build a chapel on top of the Garenneheuvel. It was consecrated in 1616 and immediately became the scene of miracles. Only the walls remain of this small octagonal chapel, with a door and four round-arched windows. The statue of the Virgin is now in the church of Villers-la-Ville.
