Hiking
A unique fossil gorge, a few minutes from Belluno. You walk inside a dry canyon 250 meters long with very high vertical walls, carved by the Ardo river and then abandoned by the river millennia ago. Surreal and silent atmosphere.
The loop trail from Case Bortot takes about 1.5 hours with 150 m of elevation gain. The descent into the gorge is steep and the ground is often slippery: trekking shoes are mandatory, poles are useful. To be avoided in or immediately after rain.
