This campsite is ideally located right on the Border Route Trail, allowing for an easy overnight stop for thru hikers. Gogebic Lake is just about 40 feet from the fire pit, although the campfire area doesn't offer the best views of the lake. There are several tent pads, and a latrine located out of the way up a steep hill. The BRT does run right through camp, so you'll likely offer a friendly greeting to hikers passing by who are also enjoying this beautiful area.
