At 586 m (1,900 ft), Gammalbodberget is home to a beautiful, sparse forest, which, however, somewhat obscures the view. Nevertheless, there are beautiful views of the Oviksfjällen mountain range toward Gräftåvallen and Fäbodvägen from the cliff edge just below the highest point.
