The church was built in 1862 by a local landowner, Oskar Milevskiy, on the territory of the Tsitsin estate, which included the village of Kevly. Initially, the temple was Catholic, then transferred to Orthodox believers. The church building was erected from rubble stone and brick in the form of a ship with a shingle roof. The unusual effect is created by the combination of rubble masonry walls with plastered elements. Currently, it is an architectural monument with features of classicism.
