The village of Nenashevskoye, Vladimir region, Yuryev-Polsky district, Ilyinsky volost, is located near a pond. It is 4 versts from the district town and 66 versts from the provincial town of Vladimir. The history of the village dates back to ancient times. In the 13th century, i.e. 705 years ago, from this year 1921, in what was then the Rostov-Suzdal region, on April 21, 1216, an internecine strife for power and a battle called Lipitskoye took place between the children of Prince Vsevolod the Big Nest. It took place on the Gza River, near the city of Yuryev itself near Lipitsy (Lipitskoye swamp), within the boundaries of the present-day villages of Danilovskoye, Kumin and Nenashevskoye. This is confirmed by the burial mounds near the village of Nenashevskoye, near the gamazeya (public grain store) that stood here near the road leading to the city of Yuryev. These burial mounds were excavated by archaeologists in the 60s of the XIX century and ancient weapons were found: swords, spears, arrows, etc. In memory of this Lipitskaya battle, a small settlement, the village of Nenashevka, was formed on the very spot where the defeated fled. Thus, this village is one of the oldest settlements in the Yuryevsky district and at present it has been more than 700 years since its foundation, and is worthy of the attention of history, as a monument of the 13th century, the time of the appanage principalities of the Rostov-Suzdal region.
