Hiking

A wonderfully idyllic lake nestled in the forest, it invites you to linger and take a break at the lakeside hut. However, especially in summer, you shouldn't let your dog into the water, as it will smell of Puhl for three days afterward. The lake is very rich in sediment.

The Retzberghütte is located directly on the idyllic Retzbergweiher in Sippersfeld on the edge of the Palatinate Forest and is a popular destination for hikers and day-trippers. The pond and the hut are located near 67729 Sippersfeld (Donnersbergkreis / northern Palatinate Forest).
