Located in the Red Buttes Wilderness of the Siskiyou Mountains, Tanner Lake is a remote alpine lake that encompasses what the Siskiyou Mountains are all about. You're not likely to see many people out here, and the views are incredible. The area has been hit recently with wildfires though, so expect some burn scars, but also the spring and summer wildflowers are gorgeous.
