Hiking

The Mühlbachtal (sometimes also Mühlenbachtal) near Rumbeck near Arnsberg is a valley whose southern part has been designated a nature reserve. This is followed by the Mühlenbachtal Landscape Conservation Area, named after the Mühlenbach stream. In the Middle Ages and early modern times, the valley was intensively used by the Rumbeck Monastery. The unique form of the water collection system built there is recognized as an archaeological monument. Today, there is also a popular poetry trail there, which aims to combine literature and nature experiences.
