Auersberg Summit and Observation Tower

If you have reached the top, you can look down. 😜 From here the Blaueshal Waterfall leads the time trial for MTB / Jogger the "Auersbergkönig". With stamp areas and perfectly signposted nozzle round makes real whim. 🚵🏻♂️

The Auersberg is 1018.2 m above sea level. NHN [1] high mountain in the Ore Mountains. It is located on the Wildenthal district in the Saxon Erzgebirge district, not far from the Czech border, southeast of Eibenstock and northwest of Johanngeorgenstadt.

In terms of administration, the Auersberg belongs to Wildenthal, which has been part of Eibenstock since 1994. The Sosa dam lies north of the Auersberg. There is a parking lot below the summit. On the ascent to Auersberg, the Sauschwemme district of Johanngeorgenstadt is crossed.

Always a worthy milestone. In good weather you have a wonderful view over the surrounding countryside, as for example the dams Sosa and Eibenstock.
