Mountain Biking Highlight
The Fichtelberg is the highest mountain in Saxony. At 1,214 meters, it can also count to one of the highest German mountain mountains. There are all sorts of activities up here for you. After the exhausting driveway, you can first relax in the Fichtelberghaus. Already in 1888 a restaurant was found up here. A fire destroyed the original building. In the sixties, a new building was built and rebuilt in 1999. From the 30 meters high tower you have a great view of the whole Erzgebirge. By the way, you can stay here too. hotel-fichtelberghaus.de

After the trip up, you can relax here with a great Malzbier and enjoy the great view in good weather.
Then you can look forward to a cool descent through the toboggan run. And if you want, make a detour to the old bobsleigh track halfway ...
Well worth it.
