Bray Hill was established on August 31, 1918, by the 58th (London) Division, whose memorial can be found in Chipilly. Originally, there were 41 graves; the others, from the nearby battlefields of March and August 1918, between Bray and Fricourt, were brought here after the armistice. Sixty-five men buried in this cemetery belonged to the London Regiment.
Twelve German soldiers were briefly buried here before being moved to another cemetery.
