No need to go to California to see some of these magical and old trees. This forest was planted around the 1940's to provide for wood but by the time they were ready to be cropped, the market had no interest in this material. In 2003 it became a Natural Monument and its environment is now protected.

Cycling there is not allowed but you are able to push your bike. Be aware of the steps though!
