The foundation walls of a Roman watchtower (Römerwarte), which belonged to the Rhine fortification in the 3rd century, are still preserved. They are located on a low terrace, a few hundred meters below the former Schwarzwasserstelz Castle, on the Rheintalstrasse in the municipality of Rümikon
