Before the Reformation, the parish included several Waldensian villages such as Chavannes/Md, Brenles, and part of the town of Moudon. In 1846, given the poor condition of the church in Morlens, the problem became urgent, and work began quickly.
The plans for our church are based on the architecture of Saint-Martin, which was built during the same period. It is a neo-Gothic building made of molasse. The high altar, the work of Christinaz, as well as the pulpit and side altars, are made of Carrara marble.
