This mountain is the entry (the slopes go gently up) to beautiful tours in Mallorca.

Racing cyclists should not miss this place, one of the most important race tours.
When you have managed the switchbacks and the ascent, you will be rewarded with a wonderful panorama. There is also a restaurant and you can recharge your batteries and take care of your physical well-being.
And then, yes, and then comes the descent and everything is beautiful ...

Well worth it even with 'bad weather'. In fog a great atmosphere. Furthermore, then you have the mountain almost exclusively by bike. The autotouris usually come only because of the vision.

If you are on the road bike in Mallorca, here you have to go up.

Up to the monastery, from Randa it goes up on average 6%. In Randa, before you turn into the street to the monastery, take a look at the small side street (dead end).
Here is a village well with fresh spring water. There is a sign on the fountain, no drinking water, I still like it to this day.

I always drive up to the monastery of Randa on a train and on the way back I drive to and from the other monasteries.

The Monastery of Santuari de Nostra Senyora de Cura is located on the top of the Puig de Randa on the Balearic island of Mallorca at a height of 543 meters between the municipalities of Algaida and Llucmajor and is also called Randa Monastery

Nice tour to the Puig de Randa monastery. Incline is ok, descent is very fast. Be careful with the descent, especially in the season. Nice little cafe.
