The bike path isn't the best, but it's a thousand times better than riding on the terrible road, and Erna's Cafe is located along the way.
The owner is super friendly, and the homemade cake and coffee are delicious and more than worth a break. Don't forget to stop for a bite to eat. It's really worth it.
