Tips
The tower offers a great view of Montabaur and the castle Schloss. The Köppel is definitely worth a visit, not only because of the economy. Exploring on foot is rather boring as there are mainly forest roads. It is much more exciting to ride the bike 🚲.

When I was there on May 27, 2015, the tower was unfortunately "temporarily closed due to construction work".
