The sanctuary is located about 3 km southeast of the center of the village of Chernevo, which is in the Suvorovo municipality, Varna region. It is a rock with niches carved into its wall, characteristic of Thracian cult rites. It’s reported that a marble votive slab was found here, dated approximately 2000 BC. Based on it, and according to the niches, it is concluded that a Thracian sanctuary functioned at this place. The fresco depicted a woman riding a deer, and it is assumed that it personified the veneration of the goddess Bendida.
