Mosquito Creek is one of the more significant water crossings you'll encounter on the Quehanna Trail. There used to be a bridge across the water, but it was washed out years ago and never replaced. Log bridges have appeared from time to time, but they get washed away eventually. It's generally not a dangerous crossing, but be prepared to get more than your feet wet if a log crossing is not present.
