Passing the Saar from Saarlouis in the direction of Saarbrücken, you inevitably see the Saar polygon. At the Ensdorf bridge you can switch to the other side of the Saar and get to the entrance via side streets. The way up to the polygon is about 950m long and sometimes quite steep. The path is partly firm and partly loose. The view compensates for the exertion.
