The 235 m long Main Flood Bridge was built around 1890 as an extension to the Haßfurt Main Bridge. The flood bridge was constructed as a stone arch bridge and expanded in 1962 with an exposed stone concrete slab. The flood bridge was most recently renovated between 2018 and 2021 and in 2023.
