Phnom Sampeau (Sampeau Hill) has several caves that traditionally served as Buddhist temples. A large glass memorial in the cave, alongside the skulls and bones, and a golden reclining Buddha commemorate the massacre. A memorial constructed of chain-link fence and chicken wire contains human bones. [ 2 ] [ 3 ]
