The climb to the Passo del Lagadello passing through the hamlet of Chiozza, starts from Castelnuovo di Garfagnano. It measures about 18 kilometers, for almost 1400 meters of altitude difference. You pedal through the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, and the hardest climb is the passage through the village of San Pellegrino in Alpe. The pass marks the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.
