Don Alberto Bernardoni is writing another special chapter in Maranello. The passionate Ferrari fan has been the town's pastor since 1997 and maintains a special tradition: Whenever Ferrari wins a Formula 1 race, he has his church bells ring—for three days after Schumacher's first title with Ferrari in 2000. For him and his congregation, Ferrari is more than just a racing team—it's part of their identity.

Anyone who parks their car in front of the "Montana" restaurant in Maranello, Italy, will immediately notice: Everything here revolves around Ferrari. From nearby, you can hear the roar of racing cars speeding through the corners – the atmosphere is quintessentially motorsport. The "Montana" is considered a cult destination for Ferrari fans.

Owner Rossella Giannini has run the "Montana" for many years. It became a kind of second home for Michael Schumacher during his time at Ferrari. He particularly enjoyed eating tagliatelle al ragù – a pasta dish with veal Bolognese. He often retreated to the kitchen with then-Ferrari team principal Jean Todt to escape the hustle and bustle of the fans. The restaurant is extremely popular with Formula 1 drivers and is visited by Ferrari enthusiasts from all over the world. Sebastian Vettel also regularly stopped by for lunch during his time at Ferrari between 2015 and 2020.
