From the Teufelsmühle you have a wonderful view of the Hornisgrinde, the Badener Höhe, the Palatinate Forest and Speyer Cathedral as well as the Vosges and the Strasbourg Cathedral, over the Murg Valley and into the Rhine Plain.

The Teufelsmühle above Loffenau was a simple shelter with a fireplace belonging to the Black Forest Association in the mid-19th century. It burned down in 1909 and this observation tower with accommodation was built in 1910. The Teufelsmühle is made of red sandstone and is 16.20 meters high.

The Teufelsmühle is easily accessible from all directions via many paths.

Next to the tower there is also a hiking lodge for up to 20 people to stay overnight.
