Arnis is worth a visit at any time of year, ideally by bike from Kappeln along the Schlei. It offers stunning views. The cemetery with the Fisherman's Church right on the water is a magical place.

The tree-lined avenue that lines the path to the church invites you to take a detour. Right at the entrance, there's an information board with QR codes. Here, you can access the history of the church and cemetery, talking stones, and a spoken introduction. The talking stones at each grave tell the story of those who have found their final resting place there. It's incredibly interesting, truly unique for us so far. The church is definitely worth a visit from the inside. It's a sailors' church and has a maritime feel. It's simply beautiful, as is the outside, with the restored half-timbering at the rear and the wood-clad tower.
