It looks like the remnant of a castle complex. The tower, which may appear to date back a very long time, is actually a tower built in the late 19th/early 20th century as a pumping tower. Groundwater is pumped up here and distributed accordingly. Nevertheless, the viewer will be astonished by the tower's design.
