Do not forget the apple for the Appel Jupp :-) From the lexicon: Hermann-Joseph was buried in Steinfeld. Shortly after his death he was worshiped in the Eifel by the population. He is according to the legend of the apple accepting the apple as an apple saint - in the Rhenish dialect: Appel-Jupp -: again and again pilgrims put fresh apples on his grave. In the Baroque his worship boomed; since 1701 his sarcophagus is in the basilica of the monastery Steinfeld. Relics were widely used. A climax experienced his cult in the romance, where he became a saint.
