Diarmuid O'Duibne, or “Diarmuid of the Bright Face,” was a famed warrior of Finn mac Cumhaill’s Fianna in Irish mythology. His legendary death at Glenshee, fatally wounded by a wild boar, remains a key part of his story. A mound, marked by four standing stones aligned with Ben Gulabin, is said to be his burial site. Glenshee’s landscape is rich with place names and legends linked to Finn and his warriors, highlighting its deep mythological significance.
