If you leave the Five Rivers Cycle Path in Theuern, heading towards Schmidmühlen, and take the old Vilstalstraße road toward Wolfsbach, you'll find this wonderful highlight of the Hirschwald Nature Park shortly after the sewage treatment plant, right next to the purification ponds. It was built in spring 2025 and discovered by us in April.

If you are travelling in the opposite direction, i.e. towards Amberg, you leave the 5 Rivers Cycle Path in Wolfsbach, directly at the fire station, cross the Vils in the village and then follow the old Vilstalstraße towards Theuern.
