After the landslide in Val Bondasca (2017) and the consequent closure of the entire valley, this refuge can only be reached via the new access, inaugurated at the beginning of the summer of 2019 and marked by white-blue markings. The departure of the itinerary for the ascent is from Promontogno or Bondo.
