From Bernbeuren, the 4 km Roman Trail "Via Damasia" leads up to the Auerberg in about 1.5 hours. Seven interactive stations provide a wealth of information on the geology and ecology of the Auerberg. Around the summit of the Auerberg, two circular trails allow you to explore the Roman ring wall and the Roman settlement through "historical windows."
