The largest partisan cemetery in Poland. The soldiers of the Home Army and Peasant Battalions who died fighting the Germans are buried here. The cemetery was established in July 1944, after one of the largest partisan battles on the territory of today's Poland. About 300 fallen soldiers from the Home Army and Peasant Battalions were buried in the cemetery established here, as well as in other nearby parish cemeteries.
