Hiking
In some of the levadas of the Madeira Natural Park, with a bit of luck you might spot small trout in the clear water. The fish use the cool, shady channels as a tranquil habitat and sometimes accompany you for a while along the way. A beautiful, unexpected moment in nature that underscores the vibrancy and purity of Madeira's levadas.
