The House of the Five Rings is an old patrician house built in 1550. A brewery once operated here, known as the "Otten's Brewery of the Five Rings."

Three-story, three-axis-wide brick building with a two-story, crenellated gable between octagonal corner towers. The mullions and corbels of the corner towers are made of quarry stone. Tall rectangular blind arches are above the cross-cased windows on the third floor. Above them, a renewed horizontal cornice. The lower window in the central axis of the gable is flanked by two cross-cased blind arches, and the smaller upper window is closed by a pointed arch blind arch. The crenellated corner towers rest on pointed arches with two rows of pointed arch blind arches. The western, simpler rear of the building has a stepped gable. On the third floor, the three medieval cross-cased windows still retain much of their original structure. In the gable, a pair of rectangular windows, one above the other, are each built. Built in the early 16th century. Restoration of the cross-cased windows and cross-cased blind arches, among other things, was carried out in 1900/01 according to designs by the diocesan master builder Renard from Cologne. At the same time, the windows on the front facade were given cement frames and colorful wooden shutters.

The house testifies to the art of architects of earlier times.
