Cycling
The Cathedral of San Nicolò is the spiritual heart of Noto, a masterpiece of Sicilian Baroque with its majestic golden stone façade and spectacular staircase. Rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake, it dominates the city with its elegant domes and sober but solemn interiors.
Opposite stands Palazzo Ducezio, the town hall, with its harmonious neoclassical façade punctuated by elegant arches. Built in the 18th century, the palace is famous for its Hall of Mirrors, a sumptuous room decorated in Rococo style. Together, the cathedral and palace create one of the most iconic views of Baroque Sicily.
