The Blacksmith Museum in Arfeld offers both historical information and hands-on craft experiences for visitors of all ages.

The blacksmith shop in Arfeld was built in the mid-19th century and later expanded to include a wheelwright's shop and a metal water wheel. Steel and wooden wagons, as well as agricultural implements, were manufactured under the roof of the blacksmith shop and wheelwright's shop.

Today, the blacksmith shop is a listed building and definitely worth a visit – especially because "ardent fans" can still forge iron over the fire themselves. You can even get married here: the blacksmith shop has a wedding room.
