At an altitude of 841 m on the Geisbühel, which is known for its rich floral splendor.
From there, the view of the Gutenstein Alps and the Lower Austrian Alpine foothills opens up.
The hut is not known after Emperor Franz Josef, but rather after JOSEF Pirgmaier and FRANZ Kögl, two Rabensteiner Naturfreunde members who died tragically during the construction of the hut.
Open all year:
Saturday from 12 p.m. to Sunday 7 p.m
