In 1907, Josef Hofstätter founded a winery in Tramin, which is now the largest family-run winery in South Tyrol. Under the management of Martin Foradori, the winery operates on over 50 hectares in various regions of South Tyrol, Trentino, and even Saarland in Germany. The winery's philosophy is based on the idea that the wines should reflect the character of each site, which is underscored by the site-specific concept, which Hofstätter pioneered in South Tyrol.

The winery relies on sustainable cultivation methods, with a focus on gentle pruning and minimal intervention. It focuses on local grape varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Lagrein, Schiava, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Noir. Seven wines bear the "Vigna" designation of origin, comparable to the French "Grand Cru."

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and in winter, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In summer, until 6 p.m. Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
