Manor house from the 1st half of the 19th century
The first mention of the village comes from 1436. At that time, it was a noble village that belonged to a land judge. In the 2nd half of the 19th century, it was a knight's estate in the Chojnice district. At that time, it was known as Zandersdorf. In the 19th century, the Kreisch family owned the estate. It was for them that the current manor house and the surrounding park were built. The last owner until 1939 was Rudolf Fisher. After World War II, the owner was the Polish State Treasury. The village has retained its specific character due to the dominant importance of the Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute for the village, which owned almost all of the surrounding lands.
