Arreskov Lake is Funen's largest lake and is located about 8 km northeast of Faaborg. It is a shallow lake with an area of just over 3 km². The lake has an average depth of 2 m and is 4 m deep at its deepest point.
Odense River begins on the eastern shore of the lake.
An observation tower has been built on the western shore of the lake, from which the rich birdlife can be observed. The area is a breeding ground for bitterns, white-tailed eagles, common buzzards, and greylag geese, among others.
