The pebble beach is usually used as a starting point for the short hike to Preveli Palm Beach. This beach is much longer and much less visited. There's a mini-market and a tavern, and recently, there's even a paved road leading there. The gravel road from the Gefyra Tavern should only be used by four-wheel drive vehicles.
