Hiking
Guided tours of two caves, including a short boat ride and plenty of glowworms. The second cave is a stalactite cave, with hardly any glowworms (but there is light, and you can use flash photography). The guides, often locals (Maori), offer plenty of interesting background information, and the groups are pleasantly small (maximum 12 people). Advance reservations are essential!
