Northeast of Galatzó, the hiking trail leads along very relaxed, well-maintained paths through ancient holm oak forests. On the classic route to Galatzó, I would recommend the path through the shady forests on the outward journey in warmer weather. Along the trail, you'll repeatedly pass old charcoal burning sites. These silent witnesses to time were once used for charcoal production.
