Alpe Nivoiaj, located at about 1,380 meters above sea level, is a historic mountain pasture near the hamlet of Campidaglio, in the municipality of Pont Canavese.
Starting from Campidaglio, it is located shortly after Alpe di Pian Russa.
The map shows the presence of a water source, but in March it was not operational. Perhaps it is in the warmer months.
The part of the trail that continues from here to the intersection with the trail coming from Frachiamo is exposed to the North West, so it is reasonable to expect residual snow if it is winter or early spring.
This mountain pasture represents a significant stop along the hiking trail that leads to Punta Arbella (1,879 m), a panoramic peak that offers spectacular views of the surrounding valleys.
