Gabbro Pass is one of the eight named passes along the Uinta Highline Trail in Utah. This pass is either the first or the last pass of the challenging thru-hike. Although it generally considered straightforward to navigate, snow cornices can persist on its eastern side well into the season. To avoid these lingering snowfields, it's advisable to stay north of the main pass along the Uinta crest.
