The church underwent its last major redesign in 2000/2001, when the gallery was demolished, the pulpit was finally removed and the sanctuary was redesigned. The organ now found its place in the northern aisle, connected with a place for the choir. As a result of this measure, the central aisle was abandoned and replaced by a closed bank block.
