The access to the newly constructed cycle path with stairs is strange in Süßen. Cyclists are also expressly forbidden from using the stairs. Our newspaper reported that officials claimed that this footpath was planned as a connection to the industrial area on the other side of the cycle path and the road. To me, that sounds like a flimsy and implausible excuse, because you would have to trudge through green strips and mud to continue on. It's extremely embarrassing not to admit an obvious mistake.
