Hiking

There are several of these old towers around the island. They were build in the 18th century to protect the island from pirates. If you are coming from the main road, there is a sign when to turn left onto a path. From the Torre you also can reach the lighthouse further south.

Cycling

This defense tower of the XVIII century is similar to those to be found in the island of Ibiza. It is a military construction meant to protect the Pitiusas (Ibiza and Formentera) and were used for the sighting of enemy ships.
